Airi Mikkelä (born 5 April 1993) is a Finnish female badminton player. She started playing badminton at 8 years old, then in 2009, she joined Finnish national badminton team.[1] [2] In 2010, she participated at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. In 2014 she won Iceland International tournament in women's singles event. In 2015, she became the runner-up of Mauritius and Mexico international tournament. In 2016, she won Peru International Series and became the runner-up of Iceland International tournament.[3]

The BWF Grand Prix has two level such as Grand Prix and Grand Prix Gold. It is a series of badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) since 2007.
