Ben Purrington (born 20 May 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Plymouth Argyle.
Career
Born in Exeter, he joined the club's youth academy when he was nine and signed his first professional contract in May 2013.[3] Seven months later, Purrington made his first team debut in a Football League game against Oxford United,[4][5] and scored his first senior goal in his fourth game; an FA Cup tie with Port Vale.[6]
Personal life
Purrington's uncle is former England rugby union player Richard Hill.[7]
