The Boettger's wall gecko or the Gran Canaria gecko (Tarentola boettgeri ) is a species of lizard in the family Gekkonidae.[1]
Etymology
The specific name, boettgeri, is in honor of German herpetologist Oskar Boettger.[2]
Geographic range
T. boettgeri is endemic to the islands of El Hierro and Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. An introduced population exists in Galicia, Spain.[1]
Habitat
Its habitats are shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, rocky shores, and rural gardens.[1]
