Boonsong's keelback (Opisthotropis boonsongi ) is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. It is endemic to Thailand.[1]
Geographic range
O. boonsongi is known only from Loei Province in northeastern Thailand although it may occur in Laos, southern China and Vietnam. It is found in sub-montane forests and may be aquatic or semi-aquatic, feeding on frogs and fishes.[1]
Etymology
The specific name, boonsongi, commemorates Thai zoologist and conservationist Dr. Boonsong Lekagul.[2]
