Copera vittata is a species of damselfly in the family Platycnemididae. It is native to Asia, where it is widely distributed from India to Indonesia. It is common in many areas.[1] It is known commonly as the blue bush dart.[2]
This is a variable species. There are several subspecies and it may represent a species complex.[1] There are two color morphs, one with red legs and one with yellow.[3]
This damselfly can live in many types of standing-water habitat, such as lakes and swamps.[1]
