Controversies

During the 2016 Philippine Election Cristina's daughter Sofia, who was under age that time, posted on Twitter questioning Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo qualification for the vice-presidency which contained foul language and offensive statement in her tweet.[4] In a post on her Facebook, Romualdez apologized and said she did not approve of the words her daughter Sofia used in the controversial Twitter post.[5]
