Grevillea leucopteris, also known as Old Socks or White Plume Grevillea, is a shrub which is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It grows up to 5 metres in height and produces white or cream unpleasantly-scented flowers between July and January (mid winter to mid summer) in its native range.[1][2]
The species was first formally described by botanist Carl Meissner, his description published in Hooker's Journal of Botany and Kew Garden Miscellany in 1855.[3]
