Hakea verrucosa is a shrub species in the family Proteaceae. It is endemic to south-west Western Australia. Plants grow to between 0.8 and 3 metres high and produce pink to red and white flowers between May and August in the species native range.[1]
The species was first formally described in 1865 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller and published in the fifth volume of his Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae.[2]
