Kanihama

Kanihama, formerly known as Gund Kawarhama,[1] is a village situated on the Srinagar-Gulmarg Road in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Kani Shawls produced in the area were given a Geographical indication status by the Jammu and Kashmir government to keep shawls made elsewhere from being sold as Kani shawls.[2]
