Travis Egedy[4] (born 1985),[5] better known by his stage name Pictureplane, is an American electronic musician based in Brooklyn, New York.[6] He first appeared in the music scene of Denver, Colorado, making a name for himself at the warehouse where he also lived, Rhinoceropolis.[7] He has been credited for coining the term "witch house".[8]
Life and career
Egedy attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.[9]
Pictureplane released the studio album, Dark Rift, on Lovepump United Records in 2009.[10] Thee Physical was released on the label in 2011.[11] In 2015, he released Technomancer on Anticon.[12]
