List of Shameless (U.S. TV series) episodes

Shameless is an American television comedy-drama series which premiered on Showtime on January 9, 2011.[1] Created by Paul Abbott the series is adapted by John Wells based upon the British series of the same name. HBO began developing an American version of Shameless after striking a deal with John Wells in January 2009.[2] By October 2009 the development had moved to Showtime. John Wells Productions filmed a pilot episode for the cable network in December 2009.[3]

As of November 27, 2016, 81 episodes of Shameless have aired. The series was renewed for a seventh season with the season premiere debuting online for free on September 23, 2016 prior to its October 2, 2016 broadcast.[4]
