Seaquest State Park is a publicly owned recreation area located on the western flank of Silver Lake in Cowlitz County, Washington.[2] The 475-acre (192 ha) state park is home to the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center, which offers displays on the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption of 1980.[3] Mount St. Helens itself is approximately 44 miles (71 km) east of the park.
Activities and amenities
Park activities include picnicking, camping, hiking on 7 miles (11 km) of trails (including 1 mile (1.6 km) of ADA-accessible trail), birdwatching, and horseshoes. The park's campground has standard, partial, and full hookup campsites. The park offers over 1 mile (1.6 km) of shoreline on Silver Lake, a shallow wetland lake known for its wetlands trail,[2] boat launch, and fishing.[4]
