Spinomantis brunae is a species of frog in the Mantellidae family.[5] It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are forest with rocky areas, generally close to flowing water. It is possible that the frog reproduces in water flowing through the rocks.[5] However, the frog is threatened by habitat loss by subsistence, logging, and human settlements expanding.[5]
Location
Scpinomantis brunae are generally found in humid forests in the Anosy Mountains, at around 300m-600m.[6]
Documentation
Spinomantis brunae has only a single frog of its kind examined, and therefore little is known about it.[7]
