Uralsky (Russian: Ура́льский) is a closed urban locality (a settlement) in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located 32 kilometers (20 mi) southeast of Yekaterinburg. Population: 2,444 (2010 Census);[3] 2,311 (2002 Census).[5]

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of the administrative divisions, it is incorporated as the closed administrative-territorial formation of Uralsky[1]—an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts. As a municipal division, the closed administrative-territorial formation of Uralsky is incorporated as Uralsky Urban Okrug.[2]
