Wayne Andrews (1913–August 17, 1987) was an American historian and architectural photographer. He was author of numerous books, including Architecture, Ambition and Americans, Battle for Chicago and Siegfried`s Curse: The German Journey from Nietzsche to Hesse. Andrews graduated from Harvard University and obtained a doctorate from Columbia University in American history.[1] His portfolio consists of 4183 architectural photographs, mostly from America and Europe, and a small number from Mexico.[2] He died of a heart attack on August 17, 1987 while in Paris taking photos for his next book.[3][4][5]
