Coordinates: 52°52′34″N 3°37′42″W / 52.876041°N 3.628389°WLlangywer is a community in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, and is 98.3 miles (158.2 km) from Cardiff and 175.9 miles (283.0 km) from London.[1][2] In 2011 the population of Llangywer was 253 with 67.2% of them able to speak Welsh.[3]
St. Cywair
Notable people from the community include the poet Euros Bowen who was vicar of St. Cywair Church in the village, which is a Grade II listed building, now empty.[4]
Bala Lake Railway runs past the village of Llangywer.
