The Bannu Times is an online bilingual newspaper started by Pakistani columnist Farman Nawaz. The Bannu Times is published in English and Urdu languages from Bannu - a district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Pakistani columnist Farman Nawaz,[1][2][3][4] who previously ran an Urdu Weekly Jirga Bannu,[5][6][7] is the editor of The Bannu Times.Nawaz also runs an online newspaper Border Times Pakistan. Nawaz has written English articles for Global Times China,[8][9] Daily Outlook Afghanistan[10] and several leading English newspapers of Pakistan.[11][12][13][14][15] He had also worked as a blogger for Express News TV Network website.[16]

- According to the report 'Debating the Pakistani National Interest over the Kerry-Lugar Bill'[17] of Middle East Media Research Institute Farman Nawaz favored the Kerry-Lugar Bill (Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act of 2009).
- Quarterly publication ,Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, of Association of Indian Diplomats in its vol. 6 (2011) gave special importance to an article[18] of Farman Nawaz published in Daily Dawn where he argued that "Afghan friends would advise Pakistani traders not to disclose their identity as they move around in Afghanistan and if approached, to identify themselves as Indians, as there is a perception ... in Afghanistan [that] Indians are more respected than Pakistanis"[19]
