Urmetan (Tajik: Урметан; Persian: اُرمیتن, Ormetan) is a town and jamoat in north-western Tajikistan. It is located in Aini District in Sughd province. The jamoat has a total population of 14,849.[1]
It is located along the A377 highway.
Urmetan is considered to be one of the largest jamoats in Tajikistan.
